Gunjit Chopra is most famous for his performances in the shows Paatal Lok and Taish. Diggi Sisodia directed the Sony series Andaaz in 2013. This series is directed by Randeep Jha. Before directing his first film, Halahal, Randeep Jha gained experience as an assistant director on movies like Shanghai, Psycho Raman, and Ugly.

The show uses a crime investigation to explore troubled family relationships and the dark aspects of love and relationships. A murder of a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) is found in a rural area of Punjab shortly before his wedding. As the investigation continues, we discover a world filled with lies, hidden truths, and the complicated problems faced by families that have fallen apart.

This is an investigative show that stars Suvinder Vicky, Barun Sobti, Varun Badola, Harleen Sethi, Rachel Shelly, and Manish Chaudhary. It is in both Hindi and Punjabi languages. The show is created by Director Randeep Jha and screenwriter Sudip Sharma from Clean Slate Filmz.
